Especially during study, internship and/or work abroad you have to take extra precautions with regard to your health. Hepatitis A, B, yellow fever, rabies, meningococcus and tuberculosis are examples of diseases that may require a vaccination. We, team “Radboudumc Travel- and Vaccination Clinic”, can assess in consultation with you what vaccinations you may need.
We used to go by the name “Radboud Travel Clinic”, but that didn’t cover the load anymore as we’re not just seeing travelers but also patients/clients that need advice and/or assistance with regard to chronic conditions or, for instance, start with immune suppressive medication.
In case of traveling abroad please contact us as soon as in all fairness possible, preferably at least 6 weeks prior to your planned trip. Also after that term we strongly advise you to contact us as our main goal is to have you well protected traveling as well as having you safe upon your homecoming.
The “Radboudumc Travel- and Vaccination Clinic” is an university center of expertise with regard to travel -and tropics medicine. (Travel) advice is given under responsibility of academic medical specialists and specialized nurses. We focus on and take care of all travelers at all time: prior, upon ánd after travelling in case medical complaints (illnesses, diseases etc.) may occur.
