Introduction

The Medical Faculty Association Nijmegen (MFVN in Dutch)  is a medical student association on the medical faculty Nijmegen. The MFVN is the largest faculty association in Nijmegen and one of the largest in the Netherlands. Members are mainly medical students and student biomedical sciences.

The main goals of the MFVN are:

-          To improve the mutual contacts between members
-          To improve the mutual contacts between members and teachers
-          To provide services to its members
-          To keep improving the quality of the education on the medical faculty

Activities

The MFVN organizes a wide range of activities, both study-related like symposia, discussions etc. as more relaxing activities.

Some interesting activities are for example:
The MFVN-party, every first Wednesday of the teaching period.

The MFVN-Movie, every second Wednesday of the teaching period.
Every month there are several sport and relax activities
Once a year the MFVN organizes a grand Gala.

ALV

General Members Assembly( ALV in Dutch) is the moment for members to state their opinion to the board. The ‘ALV’ is at least organized 5 times a year.
